The Pet Registry of Lebanon is an initiative aimed at organizing the pet community and pet ownership in Lebanon through our database that holds pets’ data and vaccination information, to certify pet ownership and control the rabies outbreak in Lebanon.

Our Purpose

Rabies, pet theft and unorganized pet ownership are some of the most pertinent issues faced by the pet community in Lebanon. The rabies outbreak in recent years is cause for concern, as it is very likely to progress into an epidemic if no immediate measures are taken. Moreover, it is very common for pets to go missing and the only method in place for potentially retrieving the pet in Lebanon is a flyer or word of mouth. Furthermore, pet ownership is an issue as the current methods are haphazard and based on no particular standards.

The Pet Registry of Lebanon aims to tackle these issues and more by working closely with the Lebanese Veterinary Association and with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture to ensure a healthier, more secure, and organized environment for pets and pet owners in the country.
